The center provides convenient access to care for more than 4,750 union members and their families covered under the Carpenters Health Plan, administered by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/laborfunds.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Mid-America Carpenters Regional Benefits Services<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-14727\" src=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/DSC01001-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council and Premise Health Celebrate Grand Opening of Kansas City Wellness Center\" width=\"860\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cThe opening of the Carpenters Wellness Center is the culmination of careful planning and cooperation by organizations intent on providing the type of care that hardworking men and women deserve: high quality and accessible, without surprises,\u201d said MACRC Regional Director Rocky Kloth. \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly fortunate to be able to provide excellent care for our members and their families, upholding our commitment to helping them achieve a lifetime of better health.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Located at 8965 E. 38 Terrace, the Carpenters Wellness Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for in-person visits. Current members, retirees, and dependents, starting at two years of age, can schedule same or next day appointments with no out-of-pocket cost for care.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The onsite care team is made up of six full-time, licensed Premise providers, treating members through high-quality services such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/types-of-care\/primary-care\/\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">primary and preventive care<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/types-of-care\/pharmacy\/provider-dispensing\/\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">provider dispensing<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, pediatrics, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/types-of-care\/behavioral-health\/\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">behavioral health<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/types-of-care\/musculoskeletal\/chiropractic\/\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">chiropractic care<\/span><\/b><\/a><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\"> and x-ray imaging. Nursing triage support is also available after hours for members with non-traditional schedules requiring overnight access.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cWe are honored to open this wellness center to provide access to care for more union members and their families,\u201d said Premise\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Stu Clark. \u201cPremise and the Carpenters align on the common goal of helping their members get, stay and be well, and this new wellness center further extends the opportunity to achieve better health for so many hardworking families.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Since 2018, MACRC has partnered with Premise to provide low-cost, high-quality care for union members and their families.
