Spalding serves as a trustee of the AAOHN Foundation and has been a Premise team member for six years, transitioning into her current role in October of last year.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cI am honored to join this esteemed group of nursing leaders in occupational health,\u201d said Spalding. \u201cIt\u2019s humbling to receive this award from the AAOHN, but I couldn\u2019t have achieved all that I have without the unwavering support of my mentors, Catherine Pepler, Cheryl Strunk, Maria Romano, and Meghan McManama.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cI\u2019m proud to work with some pretty incredible occupational health and primary care nurse leaders at Premise; we share a mission to deliver onsite healthcare that protects the health and safety of our members while providing an excellent experience for our clients and for each other.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaohn.org\/Membership\/AAOHN-Fellows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">AAOHN Fellows<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> are recognized for their demonstrated leadership and significant contributions to clinical practice, professional development, research, management, and policy within the field of occupational and environmental health. Fellows provide vision through their exemplary actions to advance the skills, knowledge, and ability of nurses, influence the formation of policy, contribute to research, and maintain highly effective management and clinical practices.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201cOccupational health is dynamic by nature,\u201d said Premise\u2019s Chief Medical Officer Jon Leizman. \u201cWith Lara offering guidance, we have the utmost confidence in our approach to occupational health. She\u2019s a seasoned leader devoted to our members\u2019 care which involves immense attention to detail with highly customizable programs and necessary adherence to our model of whole-person care. We\u2019re proud of her achievement which is, undeniably, well deserved.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The award was presented during this year\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaohn.org\/2025conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">AAOHN National Conference<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which took place from March 31 &#8211; April 2. The event brought together occupational health nurses and providers across various industries, backgrounds, and experiences for three days of networking, education, and policy discussions.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Spalding joins <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaohn.org\/Portals\/0\/Updated%20AAOHN%20Fellows%20List.pdf?ver=P7B7ppiDzX0VU7dTyW_10A%3d%3d\\\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">four Premise providers<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> in receiving the fellowship, including: Frances Childre, MSN, RN, COHN-S, FAAOHN; Donna C. Ferreira, MS, ANP, COHN-S\/CM, FAAOHN; Daurice L.
