This collaborative, patient-first approach simplifies their experience and makes it easier to get care. Applying this logic to the population studied, the data shows higher engagement as a key result in addition to total cost of care savings.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<!-- Divider -->\n<hr class=\"block--divider\" style=\"border: none; height: 1px; margin-bottom: 0; margin-top: 25px; background: transparent \">\n<!-- Divider end-->\n\n\n\n\n<section id=\"block_e10b1856ac537cfca6aa795106cad91b\" class=\"block block--wysiwyg background--white \">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <ul>\n<li><strong>88%<\/strong> of Premise-attributed behavioral health members engaged with primary care services, compared to <strong>68% <\/strong>in the community-attributed group.<\/li>\n<li><strong>57%<\/strong> of these members chose Premise as their primary care provider, compared to only <strong>4%<\/strong> of those who received behavioral health services outside of Premise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #1c75bc;\">Members attributed to Premise for behavioral health pursued 97% of their counseling visits with a Premise provider.<\/span> <\/strong>This continuity enables more personalized treatment plans, earlier detection of mental health concerns, and reflects the trust and strong connections we build with our members.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n    \n                <section id=\"block_1acdcc522c56b35ac44a8e0361d1ccc7-1\" class=\"block block--fullWidthMedia block--fullWidth background--white \" data-type=\"image\">\n            <div class=\"container\">\n                                              <figure class=\"img\">\n                      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/AdobeStock_1217796352.jpg\" alt=\"\">\n                                        <\/figure>\n                          <\/div>\n\n        <\/section>\n\n    \n\n\n\n<section id=\"block_56e1fa5c91af00b1a48abf1faa1486ee\" class=\"block block--wysiwyg background--blue \">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <h2><strong>Expanding Access to Care<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When surveyed, <strong>32% of members indicated they would have received no behavioral health care without Premise.<\/strong> That means countless individuals might have faced a mental health challenge alone or been forced to rely on costly community resources.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- Divider -->\n<hr class=\"block--divider\" style=\"border: none; height: 1px; margin-bottom: 0; margin-top: 50px; background: transparent \">\n<!-- Divider end-->\n\n\n\n\n<section id=\"block_e5441b10b0227fe653382c77041154a8\" class=\"block block--wysiwyg background--white \">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 36px;\">More Engagement = <\/span><span style=\"color: #62cec4; font-size: 36px;\">Better Health<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This increase in engagement led to more preventive care and fewer emergency room visits and hospital admissions. When members have the support of a behavioral health professional, their reliance on other more costly forms of care decreases. By caring for mental health with the same importance as physical health members are seen as a person, not just a name on an appointment list, and see better all-around health outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>With healthcare costs and mental health crises both on the rise, offering integrated behavioral health and primary care is one way employers and unions can better serve their people and control healthcare costs.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-4 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<section id=\"block_ac60c12961364e2190c6dfc514066da3\" class=\"block block--wysiwyg background--white \">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <h2><strong>The Study<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Premise Health conducted an analysis of employers and unions within our behavioral health book of business, including over 96,000 unique lives across nine organizations in a variety of industries and geographic regions. It examined how the integration of behavioral health and primary care, a core tenet of Premise\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premisehealth.com\/about-us\/advanced-primary-care\">advanced primary care<\/a> model, impacts the total cost of care for employers and unions.<\/p>\n<p>Industries represented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automotive<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Labor Unions<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Public administration<\/li>\n<li>Software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<section id=\"block_32b2eef67de143d5a23a8617d362a658\" class=\"block block--wysiwyg background--blue \">\n    <div class=\"container\">\n    <h2>The Methodology<\/h2>\n<p>This study was conducted using 2023 data and analyzed two distinct groups: members attributed to both primary care and behavioral health at Premise, and those attributed solely to Premise behavioral health. Both groups were compared to their community-attributed counterparts to calculate savings on a per member per year basis, while also accounting for concurrent risks.<\/p>\n<p>For the purposes of this study, Premise attribution was defined as engaged members that have most of their visits with a Premise Health provider rather than with community providers.
